Terms
The rules, in plain language
CashIQ is an educational game, not financial advice. This is what the site does and does not promise about its numbers, its calculators and its availability.

What CashIQ is
A set of free educational games and calculators about personal finance. Using the site means accepting these terms. If you disagree with them, the remedy is simple: stop using it.
Not financial advice
Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing on the site knows anything about your circumstances, goals, debts or tax position. A game cannot tell you what to do with your money.
For decisions that matter, speak to a qualified professional who is regulated where you live.
Limits of the numbers
- Figures are drawn from public data and stated calculations, and are point-in-time. They go out of date, and some are averages or approximations rather than precise values.
- We do not warrant that every figure is accurate or current, and errors are possible.
- Past performance says nothing reliable about future returns. Historical returns shown in the games are history, not forecast.
Limits of the calculators
The calculators are simplified models. They assume fixed rates and fixed payments, and they ignore fees, charges, tax, inflation and any change in your circumstances. Real products compound, charge and behave differently.
The return rate in the investment calculator is an assumption you type in, not a rate anyone is offering or predicting. Treat every output as an illustration, never as a quote or a promise.
Your responsibility
Any decision you make after using CashIQ is your own. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on the site or its figures.
Scores and records
Finished rounds are stored so the site can show how a round compares with others — against a random device identifier if you are playing anonymously, or against your account if you are signed in. Those records carry no guarantee of retention and may be reset or deleted at any time. Any comparison figure describes rounds recorded here, not the general population.
Do not attempt to submit fabricated results or otherwise distort those figures. Submissions are validated, rate limited, and excluded from published figures where they are implausible.
Signing in is optional and grants no entitlement to the service. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page, which removes your email, your rounds, your saved items and your leaderboard entry.
Acceptable use
Play it, share your score, use the calculators, link to any page. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or use it to mislead others — in particular, the mock messages in Scam or legit are teaching material and must not be repurposed to deceive anyone.
Availability
The site is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime. It may change, break, or be taken down at any time, and features may be added or removed without notice.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, questions and scenarios belong to their owner. Underlying facts and public statistics are not owned by anyone and are cited to their sources. Company and brand names appearing in the games are used descriptively or are entirely fictional; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated, with the date at the top changing to match. Continuing to use the site means the revised terms apply.
Who these terms are with, and the law that applies
CashIQ is run by an individual based in India, not by a registered company. These terms are made with that operator, and questions about them go to founder@optivratech.com.
They are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you use the site from somewhere else, any consumer protection your own country gives you by law stays yours — this clause does not take it away.
